Go K-State!!

We took the boys to their first K-state Football game on Saturday! We figured we'd better go now or else we would never make it. Well, we had fun getting them in their K-state gear. We got to the game and saw each team get the ball once before they delayed the game because of weather. They delayed the game because of lighting and probably these crazy clouds - you'll see the pictures below. They were crazy - it was ghost-buster twirling in every direction clouds . . . you could say we were definitely in Kansas! :) So they made everyone leave the seats until about an hour later when we returned to the game and made it until about the end of the 3rd quarter - they boys had their "purple popcorn" and we saw our commercial on the jumbo tron - so we figured we were good! Click here if you want to see our commercial (we are famous) don't blink or you won't see us.

Notice the weather in the background - hardly a cloud in the sky - this was taken after the delay of game.

Just some fun pictures of the boys.
They were making the balloons stick to Titus' head.

Robots!!

Mike took us to the Kansas State Fair because he'd said this would be our last chance! It was hot, but we had fun. They boys played some games and rode some rides.
However, I think the whole reason we went to the fair was because of this picture! Mike is eating a fried twinkie! Yes. . . they had fried snickers, fried cheesecake, everything deep fried!
