Rodeo'in, Camping, Four-Wheeling Fun!

So the month of September we got to do more rodeoing.  We even got Uncle Ben to come down and stay a couple days with us.  We had a good time with him here.  He was helping the boys with their homework and even reading stories to Titus and playing with Turner!  We love Uncle Ben.

Turner is named after his Uncle Ben.  Turner Ben Gamble.  Ben's actually name is Benny but the boys and I have always called his Ben.  Ben is a hard worker - despite any difficulties he may encounter we always works hard and has a positive attitude.  He cares for his family and would do anything to help them out.  We hope that Turner can follow in his footsteps and develop those great traits.

There is something about little boys at a rodeo!  I love it!!!

Over Labor Day we went to the ranch with the family and had an awesome time taking Max's side by sides and four-wheelers up the canyon!  It was a blast and we always have a blast with family and cousins that we are grateful that we are closer so that we can do things like this more often with them.

Also, in September our ward had a Ward Wood Haul.  They go camping the night before and then go and chop wood down and haul it back to anyone in need.  We thought it sounded pretty cool for our family of boys, however, falling trees and chainsaws didn't.  But it was a ward activity so we tried it out.  Camping was a lot of fun with this crew and the wood cutting was a good experience too.  The boys loved seeing all the trees fall to the ground and they helped out a lot hauling all that wood - I was proud of them.  And . . . no one got hurt!!

Last but not least, we went to our first Demolition Derby!  The boys LOVED it!  Need I say more.  They were cheering and screaming . . . and were so excited.  Even Turner, who I thought might not like all the noise, enjoyed himself and even took a nap!
